Two baby lemurs that had to be raised by keepers after they were abandoned by their mother have been successfully reunited with their mum. The mum showed no interest in her twin babies Manja and Tanala when they were born at the end of April and the keepers needed to hand feed them. But every day the baby's were taken into the cage and shown to the mother who was allowed to sniff them out to touch them - and gradually started to warm to the two youngsters. Eventually they were placed in the enclosure with their mother in a separate cage and then after a few days released into the main enclosure where they quickly bonded with their natural mother. They continued to feed with mother and at the end of the day Mum and baby's cuddled up to sleep as if they had always been together. Schönbrunn zoo boss Dagmar Schratter said: "It is always a last resort to raise young animals by hand and we are particularly delighted at how well reintegrating them with their mother has worked. The fact they have been reunited at such an early age will allow them to learn to integrate probably with the other Lemurs - and to learn their language." although at first Mum was not at all interested they are now in severable and when they aren't playing mother and babies are cuddled together. Chinese businessman Lin Su is in hot water after he purchased a brand new SUV - and drove it into the sea as an offering to the Dragon God of water. Severe flooding has plagued parts of China in recent months and in traditional beliefs the Dragon which is regarded as a symbol of luck and prosperity is also the God of water. Mr Su drove his car onto the Sanya beach, Hainan province, south China and then carried on going into the water until he was 30 m from the shore. He then climbed out and told people who had been sunbathing themselves that he wanted to offer the car as a gift to the Dragon God for more prosperity and no more flooding. He said: "I do not need it any more -- it is more useful where it is." The sunbathers called police who tried to drive a truck in to collect the car but were unable to because of the sandy ground and in the end they tied a rope to the vehicle and pulled it out. They said that the car that was worth over £20,000 was indeed registered to local mab Mr Su - who will now have to explain his actions. CEN / Photonews

pictured: Ling Wan and her caged flat. Canny Ling Wan has given burglars the bird - by turning her apartment into a giant budgie cage. Wan - who's been burgled eight times in six months - sealed up her stairs and built an iron cage around the flat in Changsha, southern China. Now the only way in and out is up and down a ladder locked on Wan's balcony. "All she needs is a giant bell and she's all set," laughed one neighbour. "People said I should move somewhere safer. They can mock but it is very effective. I haven't had one burglary since I built it," said Wan, 80. CEN / Photonews

Furious husband Xi Lin was driven mad with jealousy when he saw his wife groping her lover in a car while she was supposed to be with her mum. Lin, 42, had been on his way home from work in Hangzhou, eastern China, when he pulled up next to his wife Tai, 33, and her boyfriend at a set of traffic lights and couldn't believe his eyes. "She was supposed to be having tea with her mother and there she was fondling another man in broad daylight. I saw red and just couldn't help myself," he later told police. Angry Lin chased his rival for five miles before ramming his 4X4 jeep off the road and up over a crash barrier, say police. "What he did was stupid and dangerous but he does seem to have been provoked," said a spokesman. CEN / Photonews
