The film, My Sister’s Keeper, sees her playing a mother who shaves off her hair to show public support for her eldest daughter who loses her own hair while battling leukaemia.

Hollywood beauty Penelope Cruz has taken inspiration from Mexico for her latest range of clothes designed with her younger sister Monica for Spanish fashion label Mango. The inspiration is said to be thee traditional and modern including Aztec treasures from the past and the colors of the vibrant markets. Mainly the range is about "flounces, fringes and brightly-colored paisley prints" She and Monica have been creating for the label since 2007.

The sisters were forced to cover up for a traditional folk dance in Romania's version of Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday. But Gabriela was in tears after being voted off the show. Today (Tues) the twins' angry mum Margareta Irimia attacked the judges for making her girls hide their biggest assets with ankle length skirts and baggy blouses. "The girls’s costumes handcapped them and completely ruined their dance," she snapped, claiming her daughter had been stitched up. "They work for 10-12 hours a day rehearsing and the jury gives them bad grades. The competition is not fair. The girls are angry," she added. The sisters are famous for their skimpy outfits that leave little to the imagination But sexier costumes flown into Romania by the Cheekies' mum are understood to have been banned by judges on the televised show for not being "traditional" enough. Gabriela - an old flame of LibDem MP Lembit Opik - will now help coach her sister Monica who survived the vote. "It was a great experience for me taking part in this show and I am really sorry for having to leave, but I'll be here with my heart for my sister Monica," she said.

Stunning James Bond girl Gemma Arterton looks red hot as she sizzles playing fifties film siren Liz Taylor .
Gemma launched a competition for film makers by recreating the classic scene of Taylor sprawled on a bed as Maggis in a scene from 1958 classic Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
The scene was redone with Gemma to promote the Virgin Media Shorts 2009, short film competition which champions undiscovered UK film talent.
Gem 23 , star of current Brit flick The Boat That Rocked, recreated Elizabeth Taylor's Oscar nominated role mark the launch of the event.

The event ended up being moved to a different venue in the end, taking place on the 17th floor of the Solar Club elsewhere in Berlin. A spokesperson for the parliament said: "I can't speak for the Kaefer restaurant, but the dome is principally only available to events related to affairs of parliament."
